Meet the Team

Stephen Wenham, Publisher / Deputy Editorial Director

I studied politics at Bristol University and then spent over ten years at Palgrave Macmillan publishing books across the social sciences, most recently in politics. I am pleased to be back in Bristol and continuing to publish books in Politics and International Relations, and International Development.

I enjoy working on subjects that I find so interesting and with researchers whose insights go far beyond headlines and soundbites. As an editor you can help authors find the best format for their research and to link them up with the small army of people required to successfully publish, promote and sell a book.

If you are interested in writing for our Politics and International Relations list, please contact me at s.wenham@bristol.ac.uk. or visit our information for authors page to download our proposal guidelines.

Zoe Forbes

Meet the Editor

Zoë Forbes, Assistant Editor

I am a member of the commissioning team at Bristol University Press working on Politics and International Relations books. After completing an internship at Agenda Publishing during my final year studying History at Newcastle University, I went on to work at Routledge for three years before moving to Bristol.

Working within editorial means I support the book project during its journey from proposal to written manuscript and support authors with any queries along the way. I enjoy helping authors find the best format for their research and having a job which allows me to be close to academia.
