Philippa Tomczak is a Leverhulme Trust Early Career Research Fellow at the University of Sheffield Centre for Criminological Research and winner of the 2017 British Society of Criminology Book Prize for her book The Penal Voluntary Sector. She holds a British Academy Rising Star Engagement Award and co-ordinates the international, interdisciplinary CRIMVOL research network.
