This series brings together the highest quality sociological and interdisciplinary research that critically engages with the topic of diversity, to include, but not limited to, ethnic, racial, gender and sexualities diversity.
Currently, diversity as a concept tends to be non-critical and excessively broad in interpretation. In contrast, this international series is specific in scope to empirical and theoretical research that engages in a critical examination and analysis of diversity, inclusion, and equity.
As such, it is particularly interested in sociological and interdisciplinary scholarship that offer new empirical, theoretical, or epistemological insights that interrogates how the language of diversity has been used to hide, minimize, or deflect real issues of inequality in society(ies), to include ethnic, racial, gender, and/or sexualities discrimination or inequities, among others.
