We are looking for people with a platform to change thought and challenge social injustice to contribute to a book called We Should All Be Activists.
We Should All Be Activists will be made up of 20 essays from inspirational people known for looking at activism in new and innovative ways. The contributions will cover all forms of activism including digital, creative and environmental, and less explored avenues for change.
It will be accessable and affordable. We are exploring ways of offering the content free in some form so it can really make a difference.
We will ask contributors to write 2000 words (timescale tbc but we are looking at by Sep/Oct 2020). Once we have people signed up, we will provide a brief but we would love you to - broadly - answer the following questions through your story:
What is activism?
Why should we all be activists?
How can we all be activists?
The book is, in part, inspired by We Should All Be Feminists by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Like feminism, activism can be constrained by stereotypes and assumptions and we need to challenge this.
