Politics and International Relations

Politics and International Relations publishing at Bristol University Press will reflect the dynamism of these fields.

The publishing programme is intended to enable researchers to communicate with each other, with new generations of students, and with a wider audience of thoughtful readers. It will include work from across the subdisciplines and reflect the variety of approaches and methods used in political analysis.

The new programme at Bristol will seek to engage with political change at domestic and international levels – and particularly welcomes work that is attentive to the dynamics of power and to otherwise marginalised voices and perspectives.

The Policy Press imprint will continue to publish titles in politics that strongly argue a particular point of view or seek to make an intervention in the national political conversation.

“Bristol University Press combines a tradition of publishing high-quality research with a bold new strategy, entrepreneurial management and strong author engagement.Jon Pierre, Research Professor, University of Gothenburg, Sweden and University of Melbourne, Australia
