Bristol University Press takes on LDN Apprentice

We are pleased to announce the recruitment of our first apprentice through LDN Apprenticeships, who create opportunities for diverse talent to reach their potential.

As a mission driven publisher, we are making focused and determined efforts to widen participation in the industry. This year-long placement will bring a huge amount of benefit to the company in terms of new skills and perspectives.

We will provide a strong programme for our apprentice to launch a career in publishing by developing valuable, practical skills and experience across all departments.

Senior Commissioning editor Laura Vickers-Rendall who is leading the apprenticeship says: “Working with LDN has been a fantastic learning experience for us and we’re excited about the opportunities that this will bring, both for us as an organisation and the apprentices we work with.”

We look forward to welcoming our first apprentice to BUP on July 8th.
