Institutional Key Account Manager
This role will require academic publishing or relevant academic sales experience to sell and promote BUP’s books, journals and digital content to the higher education and academic library markets. We are looking for an energetic self-starter able to use their initiative to manage and build key account relationships with libraries, library aggregators, platform providers and digital vendors to increase institutional and library holdings of BUP’s books, journals and digital content.
This role can be home or office based.
International Sales Manager
The successful candidate should have extensive sales experience within academic publishing, including significant knowledge of trade and institutional sales, print and digital retailers and content licensing. The International Sales Manager will be expected to deliver on ambitious UK and international sales targets for the books and journals portfolio and a knowledge of social science disciplines would be a distinct advantage. You will need to have managed a range of accounts and have experience of developing and implementing successful sales campaigns, preparing forecasts and reports, managing budgets and leading a staff team.
