EvenUP Mentoring Now Open for Applications

EvenUP Mentoring Now Open for Applications

We are proud members of EvenUp, a collaborative group of university presses committed to equity, diversity, inclusivity and belonging in our workplaces, in who we work with and in what we publish.

We are excited to announce the launch of the EvenUp mentoring scheme. This program is open to anyone working at a university press who is interested in exploring development, growth and wellbeing with the benefit of new insights and expertise.

We are seeking both mentors and mentees who wish to participate in a mentoring scheme that is specifically tailored to the unique environment of university presses. Participants will be paired with someone from a different organization.

Mentoring relationships will begin in early September, with an expectation of six one-hour sessions over 12 months, scheduled at the convenience of both mentor and mentee.

How to Apply: To apply as either a mentor or mentee, please complete the EvenUp mentoring programme application form here: EvenUp Mentorship Form 2024. To help us create the best matches, please provide as much information as possible. The deadline to apply is 14 July 2024.

If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact me or Caroline Priday at Princeton (Caroline_Priday@press.princeton.edu). To stay updated with announcements related to the programme, sign up for the EvenUP Jiscmail list: EVENUP@jiscmail.ac.uk.

This is a valuable opportunity for career development and networking within the university press community.
