Khursheed Wadia is an Associate Professor at the University of Warwick and teaches in the area of gender, politics / policy and development. Her research interests centre broadly on gender and politics and her work, which has benefited from UK research council grants, examines the relation between gender, ethnicity / race and women’s political engagement in formal and informal arenas in the UK and France.

It won the Political Studies Association’s Mackenzie prize for the best political science book in 2018.
