Women of Power wins the Bertha Lutz Award 2020

Women of Power: Half a Century of Female Presidents and Prime Ministers Worldwide by Torild Skard has been awarded the Bertha Lutz Award 2020. The prize is jointly presented by the ISA and the SOAS centre for diplomacy.

To honour Dr. Bertha Lutz, leading Pan America feminist and instrumental figure in securing the inclusion of Article 8 in the UN Charter, the Centre for International Studies & Diplomacy and The Diplomatic Studies Section (DPLST) of the International Studies Association (ISA) founded the Bertha Lutz Prize for research on women in diplomacy.
