Bristol University Press Launches 2022/23 Read and Publish initiative with Jisc

We are pleased to announce the launch of our new 2022/23 Read and Publish initiative (in collaboration with Jisc), developed as part of our ongoing commitment to support our communities in breaking down boundaries to participation in, and access to, truly global social science research.

The initiative covers journals published under our Bristol University Press (BUP) and Policy Press (PP) imprints including Policy & Politics (one of the leading policy studies journals for the last fifty years) and ground-breaking new journals launching in 2022 such as Justice, Power and Resistance, and Global Political Economy.

The offer

For one flat annual fee, the new agreement will provide UK universities with access to BUP’s and PP’s complete journal portfolio collection* (17 titles) enabling authors at those participating institutions to publish their original research open access (with no APC fees to pay at the point of use) in any of BUP’s or PP’s subscription or hybrid journals.

Period of agreement

The agreement runs from 2022 to end of 2023 and is available to all eligible UK institutions (via Jisc) wishing to access our full journal collection.

Ordering and further information

Institutions must place their order via a Jisc Licence subscriptions manager to confirm the order and accept the terms of the licence electronically. You can place an order by the JISC ordering page.
