Project Work and Writing Tasks by Chapter

In this section, you will find a range of exercises for each of the chapters of Imagining Society. Some of these involve specific questions, to make you think about and discuss issues we raise in the book. Some are projects that ask you to develop small-scale research projects, gather data, and display it for discussion in a variety of media formats. These exercises therefore showcase the practical side of becoming a sociologist, and they are perhaps just as important as the text of the book itself.
