Bristol University Press and the European Sociological Association
The European Sociological Association (ESA) aims to facilitate sociological research, teaching and communication between sociologists and other scientists, and to give sociology a voice in European affairs. A not-for-profit organisation, its focus is the development of sociological knowledge within and beyond Europe.
Aligned closely in their mission and values, Bristol University Press, and its imprint Policy Press, have been working closely with ESA for many years. In addition to attending the annual ESA conferences with high-quality scholarship that expands the field of sociological research and theorizing, Bristol University Press is proud to be publishing the Emotions and Society journal in association with the ESA Research Network on Sociology of Emotions (RN11), and Consumption and Society in affiliation with the ESA Research Network on the Sociology of Consumption (RN5).
